Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Fixcord — the website, dashboard, and Discord bot. By verifying in a server, adding the bot, or using the dashboard, you agree to them.
1. The service
Fixcord lets Discord server administrators verify members and detect duplicate ("alt") accounts based on network signals. The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind.
2. Eligibility
You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and meet Discord's minimum age requirements to use Fixcord. If you may not use Discord, you may not use this service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: attempt to evade or defeat verification or alt detection; probe, overload, or disrupt the service; access data that is not yours; or use the service for anything unlawful. We may rate-limit, block, or ban abusive users and servers.
4. Server administrators
Administrators choose what happens when an alt is detected (deny, log, kick, or ban) and are solely responsible for the moderation actions taken in their servers, for complying with Discord's rules and applicable law, and for informing their members that verification is in use.
5. Accuracy
Alt detection is based on network signals. Shared networks — households, schools, offices, public Wi-Fi, or carrier-grade NAT — can cause different people to be flagged as related. We do not guarantee that detections are correct or complete. Disputed results should be raised with the administrators of the server in question; they decide who joins their community.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The date above reflects the latest version.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fixcord and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including moderation decisions made by server administrators based on its output.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the service for violations of these terms. Server administrators can stop using the service at any time by removing the bot; users can request data deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
