Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This policy explains what data Fixcord collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Fixcord website, dashboard, and Discord bot.

1. Who we are

Fixcord is a verification service for Discord servers that helps server administrators keep duplicate ("alt") accounts out of their communities. When you verify in a server or manage a server through our dashboard, we are the operator of the service described below.

2. Data we collect

When you verify: your Discord user ID, username, and avatar (received from Discord after you approve the login), and the IP address your verification request came from. When you use the dashboard as a server manager: your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and the list of servers you manage (used only to show you your own servers). From server administrators: the configuration they set for their server, such as the verification role, log channel, and embed text.

3. Why we collect it

IP addresses are collected for one purpose: detecting whether a different Discord account previously verified from the same network. This is the core function of the service and is based on our legitimate interest — and that of participating servers — in preventing ban evasion and duplicate-account abuse. Account data (ID, username, avatar) is used to identify you to the server you are verifying in and to display verification results to that server's administrators.

4. What server administrators can see

Administrators of a server you verify in can see: your username, user ID, avatar, verification status, and — if your verification was flagged — which account it matched. Administrators can never see your IP address or any network information. IP data never leaves our systems and is not accessible through the dashboard, the bot, or the API.

5. Cookies

The dashboard uses a single session cookie so you stay logged in. It is httpOnly, is not used for tracking, and expires after 7 days. We use no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Storage and security

Data is stored in our database and protected by access controls. IP addresses are stored separately from the records administrators can access, and the service is designed so that no API response can contain them. Access to production systems is restricted to the operator.

7. Sharing

We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties, except where we are legally required to do so. Verification outcomes (never IP addresses) are shared only with the administrators of the specific server you chose to verify in.

8. Retention

Verification records and network data are retained for as long as they are needed for alt detection, since the service works by comparing new verifications against past ones. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you can object to our processing. Contact us at support@fixcord.pro from an address you can be reached on, including your Discord user ID so we can locate your records. Note that deleting your records means past verifications can no longer be matched against your account.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this page. Questions or requests: support@fixcord.pro.
